Your information
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how BusyBodies Wellness LLC (“BusyBodies”, “we”) collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this website and used in available BusyBodies app and coaching services, including planned connected-health features.
Information we collect
We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, phone number, coaching goals, schedule, health and fitness interests, and the contents of messages or applications you submit. We may also collect basic technical information such as device type, browser type, approximate location derived from an IP address, and website activity through cookies or similar technologies.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate coaching fit, deliver requested services, manage the BusyBodies app waitlist, improve our website and customer experience, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and communicate with you when you have requested or permitted it.
BusyBodies app and coaching information
When you use an available BusyBodies app or coaching feature, information may include your account details, goals and preferences, training plans, workouts and exercise records, habits, check-ins, nutrition records, and progress information you choose to submit. The information processed depends on the features you actually use. A planned feature or a provider named below is not a claim that the feature is available.
You can delete your account yourself: sign in and go to You → Account & security. Deleting it permanently removes your account and the data attached to it. See Support for details. If you use the BusyBodies iPhone app and allow notifications, it can show notifications on your device, for example when a rest timer ends. The iPhone app does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Optional wearable and connected-health integrations
Current status: Wearable integrations are in development. This disclosure describes the intended permission boundaries for supported integrations when they become available; it does not mean Apple Health, Android Health Connect, WHOOP or Garmin syncing is currently live.
When a supported connection is available and you choose to authorize it, BusyBodies may receive the specific categories you permit: activity and workout information (including steps where supported), sleep information, and heart-rate information. Availability and detail vary by provider and device. We may also receive provider record and account identifiers, source and measurement timestamps, and connection information needed to associate permitted records with your BusyBodies account. Connecting one provider does not authorize every data category or connect another provider.
These records are intended to help you view health and activity trends and support your health-and-fitness decisions. Imported activity remains separate from prescribed BusyBodies workouts: importing an activity does not automatically complete, reschedule or change your prescribed plan. Missing wearable data is not treated as a zero measurement or proof that you failed to exercise.
Permission and coach-sharing boundaries
Wearable access is optional. Supported categories require your permission and, where applicable, authorization through the provider or your device’s health settings. A provider connection is not blanket permission to share health information with a coach. Any supported coach-sharing feature must disclose the information being shared and respect your applicable consent and current coaching relationship. We do not sell connected health data or use it for advertising, advertising targeting or data-broker purposes.
Provider authorization and connection security
Cloud-provider connections may use authorization codes and access or refresh tokens to obtain the data you permit. You should authenticate directly with the provider; do not send your provider password or connection secrets to BusyBodies support. Providers may send signed change notifications to an integration endpoint. A callback or webhook address alone does not authorize access or establish a working connection. Apple Health and Android Health Connect permissions are managed through their supported device interfaces. Each provider also handles information under its own privacy policy.
Disconnecting, export and deletion requests
You may withdraw provider or device permissions through the relevant provider or health settings. When BusyBodies connection controls become available, they will explain how to stop future access. Disconnecting and deleting previously imported information are different actions: withdrawing permission does not by itself promise that every previously stored record or the provider’s original records has been deleted. For access, export, correction or deletion requests concerning information held by BusyBodies, contact hello@busybodiesmethod.com. Provider-held originals remain subject to that provider’s controls. We will describe any applicable retention limitations rather than represent disconnection as complete erasure.
Cookies and website services
Our website may use essential cookies and third-party service providers for hosting, security, form delivery, email delivery, accessibility, performance, and analytics. These providers may process limited information on our behalf according to their own terms and privacy practices.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website or deliver services, when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition. Service providers are expected to use information only for the services they provide to us.
Data retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to provide services, resolve disputes, and meet legal or operational requirements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping requirements. You may also unsubscribe from optional marketing communications at any time.
Children’s privacy
This website and our coaching services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
